Neskowin Shell
Neskowin Shell
This simple yet elegant top is worked flat in one piece in a nearly seamless manner. Simply fold over when done and stitch up the side seams. What a fun way to construct a sweater or top! The stitch pattern is easy to memorize and makes that perfect take-a-long summer knitting project.
With loose cap sleeves, boat neck and hip skimming length, this is a flattering summer top for any figure type. The pattern is easily adjusted for any desired length.
Neskowin is a completely reversible shell that can be dressed up or down, layered with colored camisoles, and is as perfect under a jacket as it is on the beach with a pair of shorts.
The sample shown was made in fingering weight but would look good in many yarns with good drape.
Neskowin is a quaint little community on the northern Oregon Coast. A simply beautiful place.
