Cove Palisades
Cove Palisades is a sweet little cardigan that is a quick knit and has just enough details to be interesting all the way to the last stitch.
Cove Palisades is that perfect go-to sweater that looks equally good dressed up or down - wear it with jeans or fancy dresses.
Columns of ribbing down the center back flow into a notched V that allows for freedom of movement and adds a bit of flow to the fabric. It’s easy to make the sleeves longer or shorter and choose your sleeve finish too.
Construction is top-down and totally seamless with a raglan yoke. The loose fit and waist/high hip length makes it a flattering fit for many body types. The hemline finish is a simple one and you get to choose your neckline and sleeve finishes.
The pattern includes options for two neck finishes: I-Cord BO or a short Mock Collar that extends the pattern of the body (or leave it with just the cast on finish as in the sample photo!)
Sleeves as shown are ¾ length with finishing options to either match the body hemline or a vented, ribbed cuff to match the back ribbing and vent. Sleeves can easily be made full length.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Bust: 35(37, 39, 41, 43, 45, 47, 49, 53, 57, 61) inches / 89(94, 99, 104, 109, 114.5, 119.5, 124.5, 134.5, 145, 155)cm
Choose a size that is about 4 inches larger than your bust measurement.
RECOMMENDED YARN
The sample is shown in Shibui Knits Twig and Silk Cloud carried double:
Shibui Knits Twig: Sport (46% Linen, 42% Recycled Silk, 12% Wool); 190 yds (174m)/1.76 oz (50g) in color Cove.
Shibui Knits Silk Cloud: Lace (60% Kid Mohair, 40% Silk); 330 yds (300m)/.88 oz (25g) in color Cove.
OR substitute a DK or light worsted yarn held single to match gauge.
ESTIMATED YARN REQUIRED (each if carried double)
720(810, 870, 960, 1080, 1200, 1320, 1380, 1440, 1620, 2025) yards/ 660(740, 800, 880, 990, 1100, 1210, 1260, 1320, 1480, 1850)m.
Yarn usage will vary depending on gauge and specific yarn.
RECOMMENDED NEEDLES
Larger – US 5 (3.75mm) 16”/40cm and 29-32”/70-80cm circular and set of dpns (or use your preferred method of circular knitting for sleeves).
Smaller – US 4 (3.5mm) 16”/40cm and 29-32”/70-80cm circular (used for neckline cast on, cuffs, and collar).
Adjust needle sizes as necessary to obtain correct gauge.
GAUGE
20 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches in Stockinette using larger needles.
NOTIONS
Waste yarn, or 2 stitch holders; Yarn needle. 10 stitch markers: 4 for raglan seams, 2 for back insert, 2 for Front Bands. Note: Use distinct marker for each type.
