Ribsy Hat
Ribsy Hat
The Ribsy Hat is a rugged and textured design that is easy to make and super comfortable to wear. The stitch pattern is easy to memorize, requires zero charts, and results in a snuggly, squishy hat. The Ribsy Hat is a quick and soothing knit.
The hat starts with a tubular cast-on (tutorial link included in pattern) or any other stretchy cast-on of your choice will work too.
The hat is truly unisex, is offered in five sizes, and can be made in many yarn weights. The size and yarn usage will vary depending on yarn weight and gauge.
Add a pom pom if you wish to top it off… maybe use the contrast color for it?
INSPIRATION: Ribsy is a children’s book written by Beverly Cleary who lived here in Portland, Oregon. Ribsy was the beloved dog of the main character in the Henry Huggins series, and Ribsy took the star role in the sixth and final book of the series.
