Henley Tee

Henley Tee

$9.00

A traditional Henley pullover with a modern twist. It’s the perfect all-season pullover to wear with everything and it’s super-comfy.

There are so many options included in the pattern that you’ll want to make several! Choose stripes, collar and sleeve finishing techniques, angle of the hemline, and a contrast color on your finishes including the Henley button placket. You could even skip the buttonholes on the placket and have a lot of fun playing with your stripes! Be sure to check out the test projects for some ideas.

Construction is top-down in a completely seamless manner. The yoke is worked back and forth until the front Henley opening is closed and then the yoke and body are worked in the round. The front plackets are worked in a smooth double-knit finish so that it looks great on both sides when open. Collar stitches are picked up from the cast on edge to add stability to the neckline since we don’t want that to stretch out.

Henley Tee will look great in any yarn that meets gauge and has good drape and stitch definition. I do recommend a smooth, equal weight yarn for the contrast color.

This pattern has been professionally tech-edited and tested.
