Crooked River Cardigan
Crooked River Cardigan
Crooked River is a light and drapey cardigan with minimalist details that’s sure to become a wardrobe staple.
The twisted rib panel at the raglan seams showcases the angles and the slip stitch texture of the main fabric. It’s a super soft and relatively easy cardigan to make and to wear. The stitch pattern is a simple one to work and to remember. Make your Crooked River cropped or in a longer length as shown in the sample.
The construction is top-down and totally seamless so you can try it on and get the exact fit and length you desire. There’s plenty of structure built into the design so that it will keep its shape after lots of wear. The sleeve cuffs and hem are finished with a nearly invisible bind off for lots of movement.
The front band is so smooth and provides a professional finish that holds its shape and doesn’t stretch out. The pattern includes a video tutorial recorded for the front band.
