Silver Linings Shawl
Silver Linings Shawl
“Every cloud has a silver lining.” It is up to us to look for it in difficult times.
The Silver Linings Shawl has rugged garter sections that transition into delicate bands of lace with a few cheery bands of color to represent hope for a brighter future.
The Silver Linings Shawl is worked top down with a nice balance between garter stitch and simple lace work. The color pops at the end can be from stash yarn and just need to have enough contrast to really stand out.
Two sizes are included in the pattern instructions but the shawl can easily be made as large as desired.
Yarn options for the garter sections include carrying a double strand of lace weight and silky mohair or a single strand of lace (or fingering) weight. The lace sections are worked in a single strand of lace weight.
Size and yardage required will vary with yarn and options chosen.
The instructions are both written and charted and the pattern has been professionally tech edited and tested.
