Ochoco Sweater
Ochoco Sweater
Ochoco is such a fun pullover to make and to wear! This is a very comfortable sweater that can be dressed up or down. Try it on as you go (the beauty of top-down and seamless) and make it exactly the length you desire. The dropped shoulder shaping and texture make this a perfect pullover.
The pattern includes options for cowl, double-crew, and funnel neck and you can make that decision at the very end after you try it on. There is also a non-lace option included. Shoulders are shaped with short rows and there are optional increases to the hips and short rows to add a bit of extra length in the back for wearing comfort.
Ochoco will look great in any DK weight yarn that meets gauge and has good drape and stitch definition. Advise minimal color variation so the stitch pattern pops.
This is an intermediate level pattern that could be accessible to an advanced beginner knitter with some experience in techniques used.
Sizing is inclusive with intended ease of 6 inches / 15 cm at chest.
