Multnomah Falls Cardigan

Multnomah Falls Cardigan

$9.00

Multnomah Falls is a classic cardigan with a soft, modern twist and simple braided cables bordered by an easy lace stitch. It’s a super soft and comfortable cardigan to wear. Choose a lighter yarn for a light airy sweater (such as Suri fingering) or use a sport weight for a heavier sweater.

The construction is top-down and totally seamless with modified drop shoulders. It can be made in several yarn weights, from Light Fingering to Sport or a combination thereof.…just adjust needle size to get gauge and achieve the fabric weight you prefer. The cables do add more density to the fabric than one might expect. There’s plenty of structure built into the design so that it will keep its shape after lots of wear.

Choose a size that is about 6 inches / 15 cm larger than chest measurement.

RECOMMENDED YARN

Light Fingering to Sport weight work well. See pattern info for gauge and adjusting needle sizes to achieve gauge. The cables create a heavier fabric than one might expect so the fingering weight samples are great for spring and summer. See list of recommended yarns in pre-order document & KAL site.
