Maui Cowl
Maui Cowl
The changing hues of the surf crash against a sandy white beach. Beneath the waves, nature’s aquarium awaits the diver as wildly colorful sea creatures dart and dance through the water.
Maui Cowl is a quick and easy cowl with stripes and slip stitch colorwork on a stockinette background. Only one color of yarn is used on any given row! It’s so much fun to work the colorwork in a gradient yarn and it’s also a great way to use up stash and leftover yarn.
The asymmetrical cowl is worked sideways from end to end, with increases only on the neck edge. The cowl is seamed at the back neck to allow for easy blocking.
The pattern is written for fingering or sport weight yarn but it can be made in any weight. Size and yarn usage will vary with differences in gauge.
The easy colorwork is charted only. The pattern has been professionally tech edited and tested.
