Lost Lake
Lost Lake
Lost Lake is a beautiful mountain lake with the backdrop of iconic Mt. Hood. Can you see the water and the reflection of Mt. Hood in the neckline of the sweater design?
Lost Lake is a classy pullover with a sleek and stunning neckline finish that is sure to become a wardrobe staple! The samples shown used two strands of a light fingering/heavy laceweight yarn (Miss Babs Yet) but it can be worked in a sport or light DK held single (such as Miss Babs Keira). The marled result when holding two strands together is fantastic, the color options are endless, and the cost is actually lower for most sizes than using a single heavier yarn!
Block the seeded rib open, or if you prefer to have it more “ribby,” simply select a size that allows for more ease. Try it on as you go to get exactly the fit and length you want. It looks great with 3 inches of ease but it also looks great with more! One of my models is a medium wearing a medium sweater and the other is a “smallish” size small, also wearing a medium….
Construction is top-down, totally seamless, and with high raglan sleeve construction that almost looks like set-in sleeves but is easier to adjust for that perfect fit. Make the sleeves and body exactly the length that you want. The adjustable fit and waist/high hip length makes it a flattering pullover for many body types. Cuffs, hem and neckline are finished in Twisted Rib.
It's seamless and top-down so you can try it on as you go, and it's an easy stitch pattern to memorize.
